Crypto Revolution Investments (CRI) like other Australian cryptocurrency hedge funds are claiming to be Australia’s first digital asset fund in the cryptocurrency space but have been performing a “private trial” for all of 2017. From their roadmap they started the crypto fund journey in Quarter 1 2017 when they formed their team, researched the various crypto products and decided on a path forward in relation to cryptocurrency funds management.
CRI are seeking to create Australia’s first actively managed investment fund in the cryptocurrency asset class with an investment approach based on strategic long term investments in crypto assets with proven technologies, commercial acceptance, solid and experienced teams and security around their blockchains.
Quarter 3 and 4 in 2017 saw Crypto Revolution Investments (CRI) create their private pilot fund to demonstrate as proof of concept prior to the launch of their privately traded fund. This approach is similar to that we are taking at Cryptochain Capital where we deployed our first investments in April utilising the capital of the founder members of the fund.
The next phase of their timeline was to establish a formal fund during Q1 2018 and make it available to the public for investment. At the time of writing this article (Q2 2018) it would appear that Crypto Revolution Investments (CRI) haven’t yet complete this phase and are still going through the process to officially launch their crypto fund. There latest news indicates the CRI crypto fund will be ready for public investment in Q2 2018.
Crypto Revolution Investments (CRI) look to have a well diversified team including a co-founder with extensive experience in blockchain development. Traders and analysis with experience with hedge funds, FX trading and others with a legal background.
Crypto Revolution Investments (CRI) will be a crypto hedge fund we keep our eye on and as soon as they officially launch we’ll be in contact to review how their cryptocurrency (private) investments have performed to date.
